Fidgety Feet is run by Aviva Epstein who is a passionate dancer and mum of three. She is joined by Mary Connolly and Kate Brown who are both experienced performers and teachers and who also run classes.
Aviva has always had a passion for performing and has been lucky enough to experience a wide range of disciplines professionally, from years of classical dance training to musical theatre and even touring with a circus.
She is the West Wiltshire Area Representative for Dance Notes, and gets involved in writing lesson plans for schools and giving teachers a helping hand to teach dance effectively.
Aviva lives in a little village outside of Bath with her husband and 3 children who are a constant source of inspiration.
“I feel very lucky that I can combine my passions and am very proud of Fidgety Feet. Teaching Fidgety Feet always keeps me on my toes and I am constantly amazed by the creativity and imaginations of the children who attend our classes.”
Mary, through her many years’ experience as a Primary teacher, particularly enjoyed using both music and drama to ignite children’s imaginations for storytelling and writing.
She has a keen interest in music and is classically trained in flute, piano and voice and enjoys playing regularly in a local wind quintet. She is passionate about the benefits of music upon the learning and development of young children and is excited about exploring this further.
Mary lives in Bradford on Avon with her partner and her two children. She is looking forward to an adventure with Fidgety Feet!
Kate fell in love with the magic of the theatre when dancing in professional pantomimes and she found her passion for teaching through choreographing musicals.
She has 20 years of primary school teaching experience and one of her greatest pleasures is the merry chaos of putting together an Early Years musical production.
Kate lives in Bradford on Avon with her husband and young daughter – a home filled with dancing, singing, fun and laughter!
Helen has loved everything dance and theatre from a young age and has spent many years training in a variety of disciplines, including spending a number of years attending the Central Ballet School.
She has performed in many shows professional and amateur, including being a finalist in the Miss Dance of Great Britain competition. She is also a member of Bath Light Operatic Group and spent time as a children’s workshop coordinator at the Eden project.
She lives in Bath with her husband and her two young children and is looking forward to sharing her love of dance and theatre with her new Fidgety Feet friends.
